Rarpd was not intended to be released with 3.3. However, its man page
"leaked." This is a binary compiled to work in 3.3 systems.
Rarpd is supported in the IRIX 4.0 release as part of the NFS option.
For systems running 3.3 or a 3.3 maintenance release:
1. Retrieve rarpd in ftp binary mode;
2. su to root
3. chown root.sys /usr/etc/rarpd;
chmod 755 /usr/etc/rarpd;
4. /etc/chkconfig rarpd on;
5. /etc/init.d/network stop; /etc/init.d/network start;
The man page for rarpd is in the nfs.man.nfs subsystem. The rarpd supplied
here is from a 3.3.2 build. It has not been tested with later maintenance
releases. rarpd will be part of the next major release.
